The Texas State University Dietetic Internship is a graduate-level, ACEND accredited program that includes over 1200 hours of supervised practice and three graduate courses, resulting in a total of 18 hours of graduate credit. Program concentrations include pediatric nutrition and food security. Program graduates are qualified to take the Registration Examination for Dietitians administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), and those interested in a master's degree can combine the dietetic internship with the master of science in human nutrition at Texas State.
